Dana spent three years at Ashoka running a global program at the intersection of technology and human empathy, before spending the next decade building products at some of the most technically demanding organisations in the world: AWS, QuantumBlack, and McKinsey, where she currently leads product for Generative AI.

That combination — mission-first instincts with hard-won technical depth — is the reason Beatwork exists.

Most AI companies entering creative industries come from one direction or the other. Dana has operated seriously in both. She has shipped ML infrastructure at scale, led AI strategy for global enterprises, and never lost sight of the question that motivated her work from the start:

“Who actually benefits from the systems we build?”
